A Sophisticated Case Study

As the Senior UX/UI Designer at Next Level Marketing, I was tasked with redesigning The Linea Studio’s website, a high-end interior design firm known for its sophisticated and modern aesthetics. The goal was to revamp the website to reflect their brand’s elegance and improve its effectiveness in showcasing their portfolio, attracting new clients, and enhancing the overall user experience.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The Linea Studio’s legacy website was not creating enthusiasm for home remodeling—it just didn’t capture the brand’s elegance and sophistication. The design felt dated and didn’t reflect their chic interior designs. Their portfolio, showcasing stunning projects, was hidden away and lacked the wow factor it deserved. To top it off, the site failed to engage potential clients or generate leads, missing out on crucial interactions.

  • Enhance Visual Appeal: Update the design to reflect the brand’s modern and elegant style.

  • Showcase Products & Portfolio: Create a visually stunning products page & portfolio section to highlight their projects.

  • Create Client Update Portal: Create a product update portal for clients who purchased high quality Italian products.

DISCOVERY PHASE

During our discovery phase we wanted to ensure Linea Studio’s website redesign hit the mark, we dove into comprehensive research, surveys & interviews to truly understand their audience and their needs. We collected survey responses from 150 current and potential clients. We analyzed the websites of 10 leading high-end interior design firms. The findings showed that competitors were excelling in areas like immersive portfolio displays and intuitive, streamlined navigation. The Linea Studio’s site was lagging behind in these key aspects, reinforcing the need for a significant upgrade.

  • We know that our target client base is mostly made up of women 30-65 and married couples 40-60.

  • The surveys revealed that 70% of users were looking for a more visually appealing and easy-to-navigate site, while 60% expressed frustration with the lack of detailed project images and descriptions.

  • Clients had key pain points is knowing the progress of their order, and constantly calling the studio for updates of order delivery.

Key Insights

Users crave a visually stunning experience with easy navigation and rich, detailed portfolios that showcase the studio’s work. Additionally, a more personalized and direct way to connect with the studio is crucial, positioning Linea Studio to not just match but surpass industry standards and elevate their online presence.

KEY IMPROVEMENTS IN UI DESIGN

We transformed The Linea Studio’s website by infusing it with modern and elegant visuals, adopting a clean, minimalist aesthetic that featured high-quality images, refined typography, and a sophisticated color palette. To enhance usability, we streamlined the navigation menu, making it more intuitive and user-friendly with clearly defined categories.

RESULTS

The UX overhaul of Bespeak Music led to significant improvements in user engagement and satisfaction. Key metrics included:

  • Increased User Engagement: Time spent on the site increased by 40%.
  • Higher Booking Rates: Bookings increased by 30%, with a smoother and quicker process.
  • Positive User Feedback: User satisfaction scores improved, with many praising the new intuitive design and enhanced profiles.
  • Mobile Usage: Mobile sessions increased by 50%, thanks to the responsive design.

CONCLUSION

Overall, a great improvement in user retention and product discovery. Client’s booking appointments have increased and calls for crafted order progress is reduced by half. By focusing on user engagement and sophisticated visual design, we transformed the website into something that truly reflects the brand identity’s high-end nature.
